Yolo Food Bank: Response to COVID-19 (West Sacramento Delivery)

Yolo Food Bank is addressing the emerging community needs created by the coronavirus outbreak, but they need an all-hands on deck response. Yolo Food Bank is looking for volunteers, be it individuals, service organizations, volunteer groups, nonprofit partners, and students. We are currently seeking volunteers who are able and willing to deliver meals in West Sacramento on Thursday afternoons. Each driver is assigned 7-10 deliveries which usually takes up to 1.5 hours to complete. Each route is strategically mapped to ensure efficiency by grouping addresses within a 5 mile radius. There is a central pick up location in West Sacramento where volunteers meet to load up food boxes that are needed. Volunteer arrival times are staggered between 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm to ensure safe social distancing.

The opportunity date and time you are looking for is no longer available.
