Our association's specific purpose is to promote the educational and interpretive activities of the California State Capitol Museum. In carrying out this purpose, CSCMVA: Shall provide educational and interpretive services to the State of California and assist in the conservation of the historic areas of the State Capitol Museum. May produce, purchase, sell and/or distribute interpretative educational literature and materials for the State Capitol Museum visitors. May conduct special educational events and programs with prior approval from the Department of Parks and Recreation State Capitol Museum Director. May assist in the acquisition of historical materials and objects pertaining to the State Capitol Museum
