American Cancer Society (Making Strides Against Breast Cancer)

We honor those touched by cancer by raising awareness and funds to fight for a world without breast cancer. Breast cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer death in women. The walk is 5K, downtown Sacramento, and draws approximately 25,000 passionate supporters in one of the largest events in California. The Team Leaders, Survivors, Pacesetters, Real Men Wear Pink guys, families, churches, business leaders, communities, schools, air force base personnel, cheerleaders, and scout troops all join together to make a difference in the fight.
