The Parent Cooperative Community
http://sacpcc.orgThe Parent Cooperative Community will provide the resources, training, and support necessary to cooperatively assist adoptive families with children whose histories of institutionalization, abuse, neglect or multiple placements have rendered them unable to benefit from the services of other more traditional community providers. As a community, we offer involved families the opportunity to develop and share resources, support and friendships on behalf of all involved. Impacted children will have the opportunity to experience cutting edge interventions toward the development of bonding, self-regulation, competence and good character within a stable community of consistent providers and parents who understand their challenges and love them.
