ACE Mentorship Program of Greater Sacramento
http://acementor.orgACE is a national non-profit organization that began on the East Coast in 1994 to give kids the opportunity to explore the building design and construction industry. Today, the ACE mentor program has a presence in more than eighty cities in America—from New York to Los Angeles, and of course, right here in Sacramento—and is still growing. Here, in Sacramento, we started as a pilot program in 2007. In our first full year, the Sacramento ACE Affiliate served over 50 students at three different high schools, along with 25 mentors, all of which could have not happened without the support of our 30 local companies. Last year, we were proud to welcome over 375 students, from 13 high schools who have been mentored by over 90 mentors, representing 75 companies. That’s an astonishing 300% growth!
