Sacramento Regional Office of Homeland Security

The Sacramento Regional Office of Homeland Security (SROHS) is a multi-agency, multi-disciplinary group, tasked with development and implementation of the Sacramento Urban Area Strategy. It is the responsibility of this office to develop an urban area response plan and to review current strategies and assessments of each jurisdiction in the urban area in the event of a natural disaster or terroist attacks. The Sacramento Regional Office of Homeland Security reviews and compares the current plans with the overall urban area response plan then recommends changes that will result in a cohesive strategy. This office also sponsors, facilitates, and participates in a variety of tactical exercises in order to meet the above goals and objectives.
