Sierra Vista
Sierra Vista serves adults with developmental disabilities who have moderate to mild retardation. Many of these individuals have mental health needs in addition to their developmental disabilities. Individuals live at Sierra Vista while they undergo focused training and treatment to help them manage their lives. These individuals also receive vocational training both within the facility and at several sites in the local area. The program that Sierra Vista provides is highly structured and identifies the needs and supports that each individual requires in order to live in a lesser restrictive environment. The program focuses on developing skills in areas daily living, including work, leisure and appropriate behavior strategies.
