http://communitylinkcr.org/programs/collaborative-solutions/sacramento-coalition-for-working-families/Helping to spread the word about the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Free Tax Preparation to low-income working families and individuals. The EITC helped pull over 4 million families out of poverty last year. However, despite the tremendous benefits, almost 1 in 4 people eligible for the credit fail to claim it every year. We need help reaching out to the public and making sure that every family who is eligible for this credit is claiming it. The EITC can be worth up to $4,500 a year.
