Volunteer at Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park
Want to learn about the vegetation management policies along the trails in State Parks? Join us for an insightful training session led by State Parks to deepen your understanding of their policies, environmental legislation, and best practices for sustainable trail maintenance.
The training will have a 2-hour classroom session, followed by a 2–3-hour field session where you will be able to apply these techniques hands-on at a local trail. By participating, you'll help promote sustainable and enjoyable outdoor recreation for all.
Ages 16 and older are welcome (minors must be accompanied by an adult and bring a waiver signed by their guardian).
