Volunteers Needed for HUGE Free Medical, Dental, & Vision Clinic at Cal Expo
California CareForce is excited to return to the Cal Expo state fairgrounds from Friday, September 21 through Sunday, September 23 to provide 100% FREE critical healthcare to another 1,500-2,500 under-served individuals with the help of 600-1,000 community volunteers at their 2018 Sacramento Clinic. Last year, over $750,000 worth of services were provided -- and we hope to provide even more in 2018. Services offered will include:
- Medical
- General exams
- Diabetes screening
- Health counseling
- Dental
- X-rays
- Cleanings
- Fillings
- Extractions
- Vision
- Eye heath checks
- Vision exams
- Custom prescription eyeglasses made on-site (up to 350 pairs per day)
Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks will be provided in addition to a free volunteer t-shirt and Certificate of Service. Volunteers are needed from 6 AM until 4 PM or 5 PM each day.

All equipment and training will be provided at the clinic. You do NOT need to be a healthcare professional to participate. We are seeking professionals in the following capacities though:

Medical MDs & DOs PAs & NPs RNs, LVNs, EMTs Acupuncturists |
Dental Dentists Oral Surgeons Assistants & X-Ray Techs Hygienists Dental Students |
Vision Optometrists Ophthalmologists Dispensing Opticians Laboratory Opticians Optical Techs |
Dental professionals will be offered 3 free CE credits through CALAOMS.
