After School Program Assistant (Sunset Valley - Wheatland)
Mercy Housing is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with the after school program onsite at Sunset Valley Apartments. With staff support, volunteers will assist middle and elementary aged youth to complete homework and build literacy skills. Volunteers will also help implement physical education and art activities throughout the semester. Gain experience in an educational setting, learn about affordable housing, and give back to your community- all while having fun!
Mercy Housing California at Sunset Valley is an affordable housing community serving 88 families in Wheatland, California. The after school program runs Monday- Thursday from 2:30pm - 5:00pm. A weekly commitment is preferred. Summer opportunities will also be available.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
