MLK Weekend Event - William Land Park

Help care for William Land Park , 3800 South Land Park Drive, on Monday, January 19th from 9am -12pm. Volunteers will be removing debris such as twigs, branches, trash, leaves, and clearing gutters starting on the north end of the park and around the pond. Debris will then be placed in a City trailer for removal. Various tools will be used such as scoop shovels, spade shovels, flat shovels, rakes, trash grabbers, and loppers. Volunteers are to meet on 18th Street see map (http://portal.cityofsacramento.org/ParksandRec/Parks/Park-Directory/Land%20Park/William-Land) at 9am, look for tool trailer. Volunteers are to pay special attention to the parking signs and assure they do not park in no-parking areas. Please wear closed-toe shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
