Volunteer for Run to Feed the Hungry!!

We will need several hundred volunteers to help us host the 21st annual Run to Feed the Hungry for Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services.

We have two great volunteer opportunities:

* Pre-Registration and Packet Pickup at the Sacramento REI store. November 22-26, 2014, various shifts are available each day. Volunteers help register participants, distribute t-shirts, sell merchandise and much more! Basic computer skills are helpful but not mandatory. Minimum age to volunteer at REI is 16 years old.

* Race Day at CSUS and along the course: Thanksgiving Day, November 28 between 6:00 am to 11:00 am. Volunteers are needed on Thanksgiving Day to assist with a variety of tasks. For instance, you may be needed to pass out t-shirts, be a course monitor, assist with registration, distribute water, collect trash, or any other number of duties! Minimum age to volunteer on Thanksgiving Day is 18 years old, no exceptions. Please note you cannot volunteer AND participate in the Run.

Sound fun? Sign up online at www.runtofeedthehungry.com/volunteer/

After signing up for your desired task, you will receive confirmation for race day volunteering with task, time, parking information and additional details the week prior to Thanksgiving. Questions? E-mail Kira at volunteer@sacramentofoodbank.org
