Opportunity Details

Earth Day Sacramento Clean-Up at Florin Road and

Volunteers will start their day with breakfast provided by the Florin Road Partnership meeting at 5501 66th Ave Suite #200. Volunteers will be assigned areas to clean up litter near Florin Road from Franklin Blvd to 24th Street, as well as along Morrison Creek.  At noon, the Sojourner Truth African Heritage Museum and Florin Square Community Development Corporation will host an Earth Day celebration at 2251 Florin Road.  

 

The post clean-up celebration starting at noon is a FREE event for all ages. There will be outdoor activities for kids, such as watercolor painting, planting seeds, and learning about how we can all protect our waterways from trash and pollution.
