Lifesaving Blood Mission - Blood Donor Ambassador - Tuolumne County
Blood Donor Ambassadors - are the forward face of blood centers and mobile blood drives. Tasks include
- Greet donors and assist with initial registration
- Ensure blood donors have information and that questions are answered appropriately
- Ensuring each donor is recognized for his/her contribution and watched for possible adverse physical reactions
- Set up and maintain cleanliness in Reception and Hospitality Areas
May assist with temperature screenings, make reminder calls, re-schedule donor appointments, and perform follow up activities as directed
Location: Red Cross Blood Center in Sonora, CA
Hours: Must work at least one 4-hour shift per month. Hours of operation are:
- Mon 11AM - 7PM
- Tue 11AM - 7PM
- Fri 7AM - 3PM
- Sat 7AM - 3PM
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:16+
