Student Buddy Mentors
Carmichael HART is looking for volunteer Student Buddy Mentors to support homeless or in transition students in the San Juan Unified School District. The program goals are as follows: 1. Build one-to-one Buddying relationships for children in grades K-12 who have the need for a positive role model. 2. Improve positive social behaviors of children. 3. Support improved family stability and functioning. Mentorship Training Videos can be seen here: carmichaelhart.org/mentor-training-hub Volunteer Expectations 1) Pass Background Check 2) Watch training videos 3) Meet with paired student buddy on a regular basis.
