Opportunity Details

Winter Family Camp

The Laurel Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth and families affected by HIV/AIDS and transgender/gender diverse youth. The Laurel Foundation’s educational and support programs impact the lives of over 559 children, youth and families affected by HIV/AIDS, transgender youth and other at-risk youth populations each year. Our programs are a powerful antidote to the challenges of living with an illness or facing social isolation issues, bringing a sense of healing, hope and joy to those we serve.

Our volunteers serve as camp counselors for our children and families during the duration of camp. This is a great opportunity to make a positive impact and become a mentor to youth that need support. Our Winter Family Camp program will be held February 12-16, 2021. Food and housing is provided during the duration of camp. This is a residential camp, all volunteers will stay on-site during the duration of camp. Email Lisa for an application: LHardiman@Laurel-Foundation.org. Limited space available!
