Volunteers Needed for South Sacramento Christian Center Food Pantry
South Sacramento Christian Center is in need of volunteers for their weekly drive-thru food distribution. Extra hands are needed on Fridays and Saturdays to help with the following: Friday - 10 volunteers Unload trucks Pack food boxes Inventory of stock Preparing for drive-thru food distribution on Saturday Shifts available: 9:30am-11:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm, 1:00pm-3:00pm Saturday - 4 volunteers Volunteers must be able to lift heavy loads (around 5-10 lbs of food boxes) Contactless loading of food boxes in people's cars Shift available: 8:00am until supplies last (around 11:00am) Minimum age is 18 years old.
