Honks for Hugs Compassion Caravan
What is a Compassion Caravan? I’m so glad you asked! A Cars for Compassion Caravan or Honks for Hugs Campaign is an event that allows you to show love, appreciation and recognition to essential workers and individuals affected or isolated due to COVID-19 while honoring and maintaining social distancing.
Everyone shows up at a designated location and specific time to drive by an office or facility hoking, waving, and shouting encouragement with signs taped to their cars or being waved through windows and sunroofs. You can tie balloons to your car, bring fun noise makers, recruit your kids to make colorful signs and dress up however you like, or just keep it simple and give a few honks with everyone!
