What to help Homeless and at-risk Veterans at the Sacramento Stand Down?
Healing California will be providing free dental and vision care at the Annual Sacramento Stand Down Clinic to homeless and at-risk veterans and their families at McClellan Convention Center.
We need your help to deliver much-needed services to our homeless and at-risk veterans and their families. We will be offering dental cleanings, fillings, and extractions. We will also be offering eye exams, glasses made on-site and glasses dispensing on site.
General Support: Setup, Registration, Logistic, Breakdown, etc.,
Dental: Oral Surgeons, General Dentists, Hygienists, Assistants, and X-ray Technicians
Vision: Optometrists, Ophthalmologists, Opticians, and Optometric, Ophthalmic and vision lab technicians
Medical: Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, and EMT’s
We provide all the equipment, supplies, logistical and any other support our volunteers need so all you need to do is show up and use your skills, qualifications, and experience to take care of patients. The process is quick, simple and free for both our patients and volunteers. We have morning, afternoon and full-day shifts.
