Suncrest Hospice Looking for compassionate volunteers to visit hospice patients
Suncrest Hospice provides compassionate and quality end of life care to patients who live throughout Sacramento and Placer Counties. Office is located in Natomas however patients are served in thier place of residence whether a private home or assisted living facility. Volunteers are assigned a patient who lives as close to them as possible to visit on a weekly ( or more) basis when the volunteer can. Visits may entail conversations, reading or playing music, helping with participation in facility activties, going for a walk or calming sitting by the bedside ensuring the patient they are not alone.
