14th Annual Fair Oaks Chicken Festival
We are looking for volunteers to assist District staff in providing this amazing event for the community. An estimated 15,000 people attend this one-day event every year, making it a can’t-miss opportunity!
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2019
EVENT TIME 10:00AM - 5:00PM | VILLAGE OF FAIR OAKS
VOLUNTEER OPENINGS 6:00AM - 6:00PM
Festivities include: Live music, pancake breakfast, craft brew tasting, 100+ vendors, giant food court, kid's park & entertainment and much more.
An estimated 15,000 people attend this one-day event every year, making it a can’t-miss opportunity!
We are looking for volunteers to assist District staff in providing this amazing event for the community. We need help in multiple locations throughout the event that include:
- Kids' Park Carnival Games -- a great opportunity for youth community service hours
- Info Booth
- T-Shirt Sales
- Wristband Assistance
- Street Barricades
- Greeting & Directing Attendees
- And much more!
Volunteers will be scheduled into the following blocks of time throughout the event:
- 9:30am-11:45am
- 11:30am-1:45pm
- 1:30pm-3:45pm
- 3:45pm-5:45pm
Barricade-Only Shifts
Must be at least 18 years of age and be able to stand for durations of shift.
- 6:00am-8:00am
- 8:00am-10:00am
- 10:00am-12:00pm
- 12:00pm-2:00pm
- 2:00pm-4:00pm
- 4:00pm-6:00pm
