Application Developer Internship

The City of Sacramento Information Technology Department Enterprise Applications Division Enterprise Asset Management Application Team is responsible for the City-wide applications like Customer/Citizen Relationship Management System (Oracle Service Cloud) used by 311, Enterprise Asset and Work Order Management System (Infor EAM and M5), as well as integrations to different business line systems like Animal Care system (Chameleon), Utilities Systems (PeopleSoft and CityWorks), Geographical Information Systems (ArcGIS ESRI) and with the Citywide Content Management system (CCM/Documentum/CARA). Provisioning the position allows us to work on integration projects and web application projects that we are not able to move forward to due to lack of resource. Skills, qualifications or requirements for assignment: C# .NET, JavaScript, Java, Oracle, SQL Server, SharePoint, Git Duties and Responsibilities: Help in Quality Assurance for upgrades and/or maintenance of existing systems. Help in Production Support for systems supported. Create/maintain reports in Crystal Reports, COGNOS or SSRS. Develop .NET modules for integration projects involving different systems. Engage with Development Team in Scrum. Training Provided: Oracle Service Cloud, Infor Person supervising volunteer: Venkat Yerneni Duration of assignment: 6 months Hours: 20-40 hours Assignment location: City Hall Benefits of Volunteering: Exposure to enterprise application development, testing, deployment and support while being provided guidance on industry best practice.
