Help Create Goody Bags for Children in Need
Project Birthday is a 100% volunteer organization providing birthday parties to children in need. Our mission is to brighten and celebrate the lives of those in need by providing monthly birthday parties and gifts to children living in transitional living facilities.
Our monthly birthday parties are in need of goody bags that we will be giving to the children as soon as the event is over. You may assemble as few as 30 bags or as many as you want! This volunteer opportunity is great for groups, as well as a great bonding activity for your family. You may do this volunteer opportunity in the comfort of your own home!
Here are some ideas on what to put on a goody bag:
- Bouncy balls
- Mini playdoh
- #2 pencils
- Any type of toys that kids would like (except toy guns even if water filled)
- Stickers
- Fake tattoos
- Costume jewelry
- Crayons
- Erasers
- Mini coloring books or activity books
- Playing cards or flash cards, Pokemon cards
- Small plastic dinosaurs or animals
- Socks
- Hair ties
- Balls, squishy stress balls
Leave out anything too small. Edibles such as food and candy are not allowed.
