Conversation Practice/Instructional Assistance for Refugees Learning English
Bach Viet Association, Inc. is a Non-Profit Organization Employment and Social Service Provider for refugees. We provide Vocational English as a Second Language classes that help our participants build up or strengthen their English reading, writing, and speaking ability. Volunteers will expect to encounter individuals with different levels of English abilities. We are looking for a wide variety of ages and backgrounds to expose the refugees to the full range and diversity that makes up our community. We especially encourage women to apply.
Requirements:
Native English Speaker
Have Strong interest in assisting and getting to know the refugees arriving in our community.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+
