Northern California Wildfires: Help American Red Cross
Help Make Sifters for Residents affected by California Wildfires
The American Red Cross Gold Country Region are looking for as many people as they can get to build sifters for residents affected by the California Wildfires. The sifters will be brought to those who have lost their homes and everything else and will go a long way to helping people find valuables and keepsakes in the ashes of their burned homes.
This is a hands on project - training provided. No experience necessary.
Please note: Dress in layers as you will be working in a warehouse and the bathrooms are port-a-potties.
Location: 5800 FoodLink Street, Sacramento 95828 (Former Sacramento Army Depot)
When you get to the security gate, tell them you are there to volunteer for the Red Cross and they will direct you to Dock Door 5E
Report to: Steve Sarinelli (Volunteer Supervisor)
Age Minimum (with Adult): 10+, Minimum Age:15+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
