Hands Across I Street Participants
Let's go out and hold hands!
Join Mayor Steinberg, Supervisor Kennedy and hundreds of your neighbors to form a human chain from City Hall to the County Board of Supervisors to support one unified plan to end hunger & homelessness in our community. More than 250,000 of our neighbors go hungry every day while nearly 4,000 of our neighbors are homeless - 2,000 of which call the streets, alleys and parks "home" due to lack of shelter space and affordable and accessible housing.
It is time for us to stand together as one and say Sacramento will no longer "manage" hunger & homelessness. We stand together to say we can and will end & prevent it! Please note that this event will happen rain or shine. We look forward to seeing you there!
