Holiday Clean-up and gift sorting
Santa and the generous Sacramento community were very good to the Children's Receiving Home this last Christmas and now we have an abundance of gifts to sort and organize in order to use them to supply the needs of our children throughout the coming year.
We are looking for individuals or families who can help sort toys, clothes and gift items by type, and bag them up in preparation for transport to the Children's Receiving Home campus.
As time allows we will then be using a U-Haul truck to transport back to the Receiving Home and putting the gifts away in the storage units on campus. Please note that there is some lifting involved.
The gifts are being kept off site right now in some donated space at McClellan Business Park. This is where volunteers are needed. We will be meeting at the Receiving Home campus and carpooling over to storage location.
PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to sign-up as a team or if you are a parent or guardian who is registering with a child who is the "Minimum age with w/ Adult", you may register you and others as a team.
