Angel Tree Toy Drop Off At Family Services
The Angel Tree is a unique program that provides gifts of new clothing and toys to thousands of children who otherwise might not have anything for Christmas. By volunteering you can bring a smile to a little boy or girl this holiday season!
This Christmas we need your help sorting toys for the many boys and girls in need in our community. The Salvation Army helps over 2500 families to celebrate Christmas when otherwise they would not. Your help is crucial to providing this service and giving children the joy of Christmas morning.
Volunteer duties may include:
1. Sorting toys by type
2. Bagging toys and clothes for children based on age and sex
3. Organizing donated Angel Tree bags filled with toys and clothing for pre-selected families.
*This volunteer opportunity takes place at our warehouse at Family Services. Please be prepared for cold weather and dress appropriately.
Dates are November 30, December 1-4th and December 7th-8th. Shifts are 9:00am-12pm and 12:30pm-3pm.
