Shakti Feminine University Admin Assistant

Do you have skills in the realm of teaching/curriculum development, organizational structure that you would like to use in

service of the feminine? 

If you answered yes to these questions then this volunteer opportunity is for you!

 

Shakti Rising is seeking seasoned and talented volunteers to work and play in our innovative model of radical education from the Feminine.

 

 

Responsibilities
 

  • Remotely interfaces with teachers on five campuses (Norcal, San Diego, New Mexico, Oregon, Tennessee)

  • Supports the oversight of Shakti Rising’s teacher training program

  • Remotely interfaces with 100-200 primarily adult students nationwide, facilitating communication and integration of feedback to inform the continual improvement of all programs

  • Assists teachers and SFU Team with annual calendering process

  • Ensures that Shakti Rising’s guiding structures (seasonal calendar, evaluation processes) are consistently adhered to across all regions

  • Facilitates student access to all information necessary to attend and complete courses

  • Supports enrollment/student admissions process

  • Advises students throughout their learning pathway, offering suggestions as requested

  • Holds global perspective of student and teacher pathways

  • Updates student data in Salesforce

  • Fluency with email, Google docs, Zoom

 

Desired Skills & Qualities

 

  • Familiarity with Freedcamp and Salesforce

  • Fluency with social media

  • Fluency with online classrooms (Moodle is ideal)

 

Support provided

 

  • Ongoing training by local and national SFU staff

  • Regular communication with Transformation through Service Coordinator

  • 2-day volunteer training immersion

  • Connection with other volunteers and staff nationwide
