Camp Fire Animal Care in Oroville

Help the North Valley Animal Disaster Group to Care for Sheltered Pets

Do you enjoy helping animals in need? There are many animals that have been evacuated and rescued from the Camp Fire and they need your help. Volunteers are needed to care for, the dogs and cats at their large shelter in Oroville.

Volunteers will help with the following

Walking dogs for potty and exercise breaks
Scoop poop
Feeding
Maintain records
Clean crates and living quarters
Watch for any medical needs
Cleaning bowls
doing laundry

Important instructions: When you arrive to volunteer, please identify yourself as a volunteer from HandsOn Sacramento who registered via the HandsOn Sacramento website and put HandsOn Sacramento next to your name when you register. You will need to take the Disaster Service Worker Oath when you get there.

Your help will be appreciated as volunteers up here have been working non-stop. Thank you so much!
