"Give a Day. Get a Disney Day." is Disney's 2010 national campaign to inspire one million people to volunteer. Disney has partnered with HandsOn Network to offer eligible volunteer opportunities for volunteers. Disney will thank those who volunteer for an eligible volunteer opportunity with one free admission ticket, good for one day admission to a Walt Disney World or Disneyland  theme park.

On January 1st, Hands On Sacramento began participating in the "Give A Day. Get A Disney Day." program. Many of the volunteer projects posted at www.handsonsacto.org qualify as eligible "Give A Day. Give A Disney Day." volunteer opportunities. In order to participate in the Disney campaign, volunteers MUST sign up through Disney's website, www.DisneyParks.com, complete their service, and have their volunteer hours confirmed by the verifying organization in order to receive the free one day admission ticket to a Walt Disney World or Disneyland  theme park.

To sign up for an eligible "Give A Day. Get A Disney Day." volunteer opportunity, go to www.DisneyParks.com.

Read the Terms, Conditions and Frequently Asked Questions for the "Give A Day. Get A Disney Day." program here.

Note: Many volunteer opportunities posted at Hands On Sacramento qualify for Disney's program and though they are the exact same listing on www.HandsOnSacto.org as www.DisneyParks.com, volunteers who register for volunteer projects through the Hands On Sacramento website will not be eligible for the Disney campaign. Volunteers MUST go to the Disney website to register for volunteer projects in order to be eligible for the free one day Disney admission ticket. All projects listed on Hands On Sacramento's website are not qualifying projects. Volunteers must visit www.DisneyParks.com to find eligible volunteer projects in order to participate in the program.

Volunteers that have questions about the "Give A Day. Get A Disney Day." program should direct their questions to www.DisneyParks.com, where they can find access to FAQs, terms and conditions and contact information for volunteer support.
